Inski Guitars is the trade name of Wisconsin based luthier and custom guitar builder Mike Scieszinski. Inski is best known for makeing small hollowbody guitars in the style of Paul Languedoc/Robert Benedetto and neck through hippy sandwiches in the style of Doug Irwin.

My guitars are definitely not the cheap imports you see all over the internet that are sold under a variety of brand names for sometimes outrageously high prices. Most of those seem to come from the same factory overseas. My guitars are handmade in Madison, WI right here in the US in the Benedetto tradition.

Inski guitars are all one of a kind on purpose, and are handmade to the specifications of each musician. Even the occasional production models meant for sale to the general public are unique from one another. Life is too short for average wood.

Mine is a small shop operation, and I do almost everything involved in producing my instruments from concept to final finishing. I only have room to work on 3 or 4 guitars at once, and I typically have 3-4 build cycles per year. Contact me about your build or with any questions you might have.

Interesting Factoid: The 3 dots in the Inski logo represent the three i’s there are in Scieszinski. My paternal uncles used to call each other “inski” at family get togethers when I was young, and I guess that stuck with me!
